Billy Joe Hickox

Billy Joe Hickox, 72, a thirty year resident Garland, Texas, formerly of the New Albany and Fredonia area, died Saturday, December 31, 2005, at the Winters Park Nursing Home in Garland. He was born July 26, 1933 in New Albany, Kansas, the son of Barney L. and Mary H. (Richards) Hickox. He was a retired automobile mechanic. His survivors include: Two daughters: Cynthia Helm of Garland, TX; Jennifer Hickox of Arizona; One son, Allen Hickox of Tennessee; Two brothers, Wayne Hickox of Lenexa, KS; Marvin Hickox of Benedict, KS; Two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at the Weakley Cemetery near New Albany with Pastor Eldon Myers officiating. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Wednesday, 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon.
