Anthony "Tony" Shandra

Anthony “Tony” Shandra, 72 of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Freeman Health Systems in Joplin, Missouri.
Anthony Shandra was born June 6, 1946 in Glendale, California the son of Innocent Shandra and Mary (Lumia) Shandra. He grew up in Glendale, California and graduated from Glendale High School in 1964.
Tony served in the United States Army and was later honorably discharged.
He worked as a truck driver for many years in California.
Tony liked all sports especially baseball. He also enjoyed playing the lottery, gambling and bingo.
Survivors include his brother, Frank Shandra of Cherryvale, Kansas and sister, Anna DeWitt of Glendale California.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 E 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.
